If you have ever been to Waikiki Beach in Oahu, Honolulu, Hawaii, around dusk, the popular beach destination gets even more flocked by locals and tourists alike, their camera phones or DSLRs on hand to capture for posterity and bear witness to nature's way of saying goodbye to the day that was. The sunset offers a panorama only seen in beach destinations like the beaches of Waikiki, with beach bums and surfers serving as accidental props to the beauty that unfolds.
The 2004 film 50 First Dates that starred Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore was filmed mostly in Hawaii's third largest island, Oahu. Many locations made it to the final reel of the movie, including the Sea Life Park, where Sandler's character work as a veterinarian. The Park, which is one of only three zoos in the Island, offers an up close and personal opportunity to be with birds and marine animals, too up close and personal, in fact, that you will even get a kiss from one.

For this final destination, my travel buddy and I traveled to Oahu, one of the many islands that make up the Hawaiian archipelago.
On August 22, 2015, a very good friend of mine from college, Marlon, who I haven't seen for almost 10 years after he moved to the US with his family, finally tied the knot.
