So my travel buddy/roommate and I recently went to Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, VA. He loves theme parks more than I do, but I have to say that I am usually able to handle several rollercoaster rides before it gets to that point where my gut feels like its coming out of my mouth. The journal entry for the Busch Gardens visit itself is found somewhere else in this website, but this post is to highlight a particular and, I might add, breathtaking attraction--the Aeronaut Skyride.
A news channel once reported that the Chesapeake Bay Bridge in Maryland is the scariest bridge in the US that some drivers would hire someone else to drive them from point A to B. It is almost 23,000 feet in length, different width for its east- and west-bound lanes (28 and 38 feet respectively), and clearance of about 190 feet. No wonder it scares the bejesus out of anyone.
After not finding a hotel that allowed pets in Rehoboth Beach, its sister beach in the Delaware coastline that faces the Atlantic Ocean became the ultimate pick for a short getaway. Rehoboth is just a short 10-minute drive up north.
Rehoboth Beach is a city in the Sussex county of Delaware and is one of the many Delaware beaches whose shoreline receives waves and water from the Atlantic Ocean. It is a popular beach destination for residents of the DMV and Pennsylvania areas, especially during the summer. Having been to Ocean City in Maryland recently, about an hour drive down south of the coastline and also a popular tourist destination, I hate to say that I have become more partial to the Nation's Summer Capital as what the locals dearly refer it to.
